Cookie-Policy

What we store on your device, and the controls you have.

The short version

We use cookies and similar technologies on clicc.ai and app.clicc.ai. Essential ones make the sites work; everything else only runs if you say yes. You can change your mind at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer, and withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

1. Who we are

This Cookie Policy is issued by Clicc AI LLC, a New Hampshire limited liability company with its principal place of business at 12 Falcon Ln, Dover, NH 03820, USA (“CLICC“, “we“, “us“). Although we are US-based, the UK and EU cookie rules (PECR/ePrivacy) apply to visitors from those regions, and this policy and our consent banner are designed to meet them. It applies to:

  • clicc.ai — our marketing website; and
  • app.clicc.ai — the CLICC platform.

For how we handle personal data generally, see our Privacy Policy.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use the term “cookies” in this policy to cover all technologies that store or access information on your device, including local storage, session storage, pixels and software development kits (SDKs) — the rules that apply to cookies apply to all of these.

3. How consent works on our sites

On the marketing website (clicc.ai): a consent banner (powered by Complianz) asks whether you accept non-essential cookies. We do not set any non-essential cookies before you actively consent — continuing to browse is not treated as consent. You can:

  • accept or reject non-essential cookies with equal ease from the banner;
  • change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer; and
  • clear cookies through your browser settings at any time.

4. The cookies we use

4.1 Strictly necessary (no consent required)

Name Provider Purpose Duration
cmplz_* Complianz (first-party) Stores your cookie consent choices 365 days
wordpress_*, wp-settings-* WordPress (first-party) Site session and security (admin/login where applicable) Session
session_id, csrf_token CLICC (first-party, app.clicc.ai) Signing you in and protecting your session against forgery Session
remember_token CLICC (first-party, app.clicc.ai) Keeps you signed in — set only when you choose “remember me” Until logout or expiry
__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid (where checkout is embedded) Stripe Fraud prevention and secure payment processing 1 year / 30 min

4.2 Functional (consent required)

Name Provider Purpose Duration
Gleap ID + session hash (local storage) Gleap GmbH (EU-hosted: Azure Amsterdam) In-app AI support assistant, feedback and roadmap voting — a randomized session identifier and verification hash; these are the only values the SDK stores by default Persistent

4.3 Analytics (consent required) — marketing website (clicc.ai) only

Name Provider Purpose Duration
_ga, _ga_* Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) Understanding how visitors use our marketing website and measuring our marketing Up to 2 years

4.4 Marketing (consent required) — marketing website (clicc.ai) only

Name Provider Purpose Duration
_fbp (first-party) and fr (third-party) Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) Measuring the performance of CLICC’s own advertising and building audiences for CLICC’s ad campaigns 90 days / 90 days
_gcl_au, _gcl_* Google Ads tag (Google LLC) Conversion measurement and remarketing audiences for CLICC’s own advertising 90 days

These tools run only on our marketing website — never inside the CLICC app (app.clicc.ai), and they never receive any data from your Google Ads account. They load only after you consent via the banner.

5. The Gleap SDK on app.clicc.ai

The CLICC app includes the Gleap SDK — an in-app AI support assistant providing FAQs, how-to guidance, bug and feature requests, product news and roadmap voting. It stores identifiers on your device (local storage) to keep your session and feedback history connected, and records session replays of your interactions with the app so we can diagnose issues and improve support. Replay data is hosted in the EU and can include what is visible on screen while you use the app. Gleap GmbH is an EU company; see the subprocessor table in our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Third-party cookies

Some cookies are set by third parties (for example Stripe during checkout). We don’t control these cookies; the third party’s own policy applies to their use. Links to each provider’s policy appear in the tables above.

7. Your US privacy choices (Global Privacy Control)

Because our marketing website uses advertising cookies (Meta Pixel) and analytics (GA4), some of that data flow may be considered “sharing” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) under the CCPA/CPRA and similar US state laws. You can opt out of this at any time by:

  • rejecting Marketing/Analytics cookies in the consent banner or via the “Cookie settings” footer link;
  • using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the footer; or
  • enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out of sharing.

We do not sell personal information for money, and no data from inside the CLICC app or your Google Ads account is ever sold or shared.

8. Other ways to opt out of the advertising tools

In addition to our banner, footer link and GPC (which are the primary controls), the providers offer their own opt-outs: Google Analytics opt-out · Google ad settings · Meta ad preferences. These are supplements — you never need them to opt out on our sites.

9. Changes to this policy

We’ll post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change means new non-essential cookies, the consent banner will ask you again before they’re set.
